I purchased this sensor to monitor my baby's room temperature remotely overnight, but I've been disappointed with its performance. The temperature readings are consistently 1–2°C lower than a separate digital thermometer placed right beside it. For example, when the room is 22°C, the sensor often reports 19–20°C.
It also flashes a red light intermittently, which is quite noticeable and not ideal for a device that's meant to sit unobtrusively in a baby's room.
Given the premium price, I expected much better accuracy and reliability. Unfortunately, I don't feel I can trust the readings, which defeats the main purpose of buying it. Overall, poor value for money.
